Bulgaria
A three hour flight from the UK and you will arrive in Bulgaria. The capital is Sofia on the West side of the country - where during the Winter season the resorts are full with people skiing. On the East side is the Black Sea where you will find Sunny Beach. Along this coast, which runs for some 10 Kilometres, you will find some of the best beaches around. The Summer season runs from May to September.
Beautiful Sunny Beach has golden sands with the sea warm and calm. The beach stretches for some 10 Kilometres and is full of sunbeds and parasols. The whole Sunny Beach area has, and still is, being developed with new five star hotels and apartments. Central Sunny Beach (look for the tall Kuban Hotel) is where you will find all the action - hotels, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, casinos, shops - all open 24 hours during the main season.
Bourgas
The main shopping centre for Sunny Beach is about a 40 minute drive. Bourgas has an abundance of shops, bars, restaurants and night life.
Nessebar
Old and new town Nessebar is a short taxi ride from Sunny Beach. Both are picturesque and well worth a visit. Full of shops, bars and restaurants.
The Beach
The nearest and best beach is a short four minute walk. Cross the road and walk down the side of the Nobel Hotel. You will find beautiful golden sands, calm water and plenty to do - watersports, bars, restaurants etc.
The Police
You will need to register with the local police shortly after you arrive. The local station is situated near the centre of Sunny Beach.
Aqua Parks
There are two aqua parks within a short distance of the apartment. Aqua Paradise run a free bus from Sunny Beach to the park.
Out and About
In the apartment you will find a folder with all the information you will need to have an enjoyable stay. Please take the time to read it - it will be updated on a regular basis - and it is made up from our experience an previous visits.
Directions from Bourgas Airport
If travelling by car or taxi head towards Sunny Beach. As you turn left onto the main Sunny Beach Road, Green Homes is about half a mile down on the left hand side. Look out for a sign for "Hotel Atos" on your left hand side - you will need to turn left here. Green Homes is directly behind this hotel. On the opposite side of the road you will see the Nobel Hotel. These hotels are your landmarks.

Local Transport
The local bus runs along Sunny Beach into Bourgas. These are cheap and convenient.
Two small trains run the length of Sunny Beach every 20 minutes. They stop at various locations along the route - your nearest is close to Nobel Hotel, which is just across the road from Green Homes. The cost is 2 Levs (about 70p) per person each way.
To walk from Green Homes to the Centre will take you 30 minutes.
